Alicia G. (Edwards) Whisler, 32 of Brecknock Twp., PA passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022. Born in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of Douglas A. Edwards, Sr. and Rita J. (Shepherd) Edwards. She was the wife of Nathan T. Whisler.
Alicia was a school teacher for Conestoga Christian School in Morgantown, PA. She graduated from Millersville University with her degree in Art Education. Alicia enjoyed gardening, cooking, art, hiking, and being outdoors. She loved her family, and animals, especially her dog, Fifi.
Surviving Alicia, along with her husband, Nathan, are her children: Luke and Elizabeth Whisler; brother: Douglas Edwards, Jr.; 6 brother-in-laws: Reynold Whisler, Andrew Whisler, husband of Jenny, Matthew Whisler, husband of Yazileni, Paul Whisler, Peter Whisler, fiancé of Kelly, and John Whisler, husband of Valerie; mother-in-law: Debra (Dolenti) Whisler; maternal grandparents: Clyde and Frieda (Ward) Shepherd; and grandmother: Gertrude Edwards.
She was predeceased by her father-in-law: Theodore Whisler, and grandparents: Louis and Laura (Bechtel) Dolenti; and grandfather: Doyle Edwards.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 11:00am at Brick Lane Community Church, 52 S. Brick Lane Elverson, PA 19520. Family and friends will be received promptly from 10:00am-10:50am. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Elverson, PA.
