Ellen U. (Heckler) Wilkinson, 73 of Douglass Twp. Berks Co., PA died on Thursday, January 27 at Reading Hospital.
Born on February 17, 1948 in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Ignazius Heckler and Katerina (Resch) Heckler. She moved to the United States in the late 60’s and is where she spent the rest of her life making it a place she called home.
She was for many years a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, never having any trouble meeting new people with her kind and warm personality. She would enjoy cooking, crocheting blankets and taking care of her many plants. Her accent was one that no one will forget along with her beautiful smile. She was always generous and never wasted any time bragging about her 5 children.
Ellen will be dearly missed by her children Tanja I. (Wilson) Moyer, Dineen R. (Wilkinson) Bildstein, Jason L. Wilkinson, Renee E.
Wilkinson, and Ryan L. Wilkinson. Her caring companion of 26 years Jonathan Gray and her 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild with whom she loved and adored greatly.
A private service will be held at her request by Johnathan and her children.
In lieu of flowers, please continue to keep her memory alive remembering all the joy she has brought to everyone in all of her creative ways.
