Ronald Franklin Care, 79 of Union Twp., Berks Co., PA passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at home. Born in Union Twp., PA, he was the son of the late Clyde Ellsworth Care and Mildred Kathryn (Saul) Care. He was the husband of Patricia Anne (Leightcap) Care.
Ronald was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed woodworking. He was a member of Mt. Pickering Masonic Lodge, Monarch Fire Co., South Birdsboro Archery Rod and Gun Club, Birdsboro Sportsman’s Club, Corvette Club, and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
He was employed by Stanley G. Flagg Company in Stowe, PA as a Maintenance Mechanic.
Surviving, along with his wife, Patricia, are: 3 daughters: Jennifer Care of Limerick, PA, Christina M. wife of Peter Parise of Exeter Twp., PA, Dori A. wife of Patrick Nugent of Schwenksville, PA, 2 sisters; Janice wife of William McCrudden of Pottstown, PA, Gloria widow of Robert Wagoner of Chester Springs, PA, and 7 grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, 1188 Benjamin Franklin Hwy East, Douglassville, PA. A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00AM at the church prior to the service.
