Paul J. Milshaw

Paul J. Milshaw, 94 of Birdsboro, Exeter Twp., Pa. passed away on September 16, 2018, at Reading Hospital-Tower Health. Born in Birdsboro, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Dickey) Milshaw. He was the widower of Helen T. (Maciejewski) Milshaw who passed in 1991.

Paul worked for the former Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. in Pottstown, PA for 28 years, retiring in 1981. Paul graduated from Birdsboro High School, Class of 1942, and served his country in the US Navy in WWII on the Hospital Ship, Consolation, as the ship’s barber in the Pacific Theater. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and hunter. He was a member of Immaculate Conception BVM RCC.

Paul is survived by Paul J. Milshaw, Jr. husband of Kay of Exeter Twp., PA; 2 daughters: Joan S. Milshaw, with whom he resided, and Theresa A. wife of Edward Weikel of Lower Alsace Twp., PA; and 1 sister: Mary, widow of Emerson Moore of Morgantown, PA. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Jolene, Evan, and Chad; and 2 great grandchildren: Brody and Kylie.

He was predeceased by 3 sisters: Helen Stetler, Anna Kretzman, and Christine Hohl and 3 brothers: Joseph, John, and Stephen Milshaw.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Immaculate Conception BVM RCC, 905 Chestnut St., Douglassville, (Union Twp.) PA 19518 at 10:00AM. A viewing will be held at the church on Saturday from 8:45AM – 9:45AM before mass.

Interment will be held in Gethsemane Cemetery in Laureldale, PA.
