Nelson L. Schweitzer, Jr., 68, of Reading, PA, died on April 30, 2017 at the Reading Hospital & Med. Center. He was born on Feb. 3, 1949, in Reading, he was the son of the late Nelson L. Sr. and the Anna Mae (Deeds) Schweitzer.
Nelson worked for Beacon Container Corp. in Birdsboro, PA for many years, and last worked for Jet Pure, Inc. in Reading.
Nelson is survived by a son: Nelson L. Schweitzer, III; and a daughter; 3 brothers: Richard L. Schweitzer, husband of Donna of Cumru Twp.; Robert A. Schweitzer of Wernersville, PA; Ronald E. Schweitzer of Exeter Twp.; and 2 nephews: James and Chad Schweitzer.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, May 8, 2017 at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. 144 N. Spruce St., Birdsboro, PA. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. Interment will be held in Friedens Bible Chapel Cemetery, Robeson Twp.
