Mary Ellen (Everhart) Messner, 90 of Robeson Twp., Berks Co., PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Robeson Twp., Berks Co., PA, she was the daughter of the late Howard J. Everhart and the late Alice (Kurtz) Everhart. She was the widow of Howard John Messner.
Mary Ellen graduated from Birdsboro H.S. class of 1946, and later graduat-ed from Bryland Beauty School. She was a beautician and homemaker. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Gibraltar, PA.
Surviving are son; Ricky G. Messner life partner of Coleen Heffner of Birdsboro, PA, daughter; Beverly E. wife of Thomas J. Riegel of Birdsboro, PA, sister; Thelma Griffith of Maple Grove, PA, grandson; Bryan husband of Sophie Riegel, and great-granddaughter; Mila Riegel.
She was predeceased by 3 brothers: Raymond, William, and Charles Ever-hart and 1 sister; Hazel Keen.
A viewing will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM followed by a funeral service on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Dengler Funeral Home, 144 N. Spruce Street, Birdsboro, PA at 10:30 AM.
