Mary C. (Griffith) Tobias, 86, formerly of Birdsboro, PA passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018, at Manatawny Manor in North Coventry Twp., Chester Co., PA.
Born in Spring City, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth R. (Thum) Griffith. She was the widow of George C. Tobias, Sr. who passed on 1993.
Mary worked as an assembly line worker for Automatic Timing Control in King of Prussia, PA. She was also a member of Immaculate Conception BVM Roman Catholic Church.
Surviving are 1 son: George C. Tobias, Jr., husband of Kim Whittington of Spring City, PA; 2 daughters: Maryrose C. Bair of Reading, PA; and Lois A. Sliker, wife of John of Douglassville, PA 19518.
Predeceased is 1 sister: Elizabeth “Betty” Potts.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508 at 11:00AM. A viewing will be held from 10:00am – 11:00am at the funeral home prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception RC Church Cemetery
