Julia M. (McLaughlin) Gordon, 81 of Exeter Twp., Berks Co., PA passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Berkshire Center. She was born in Paoli, PA, the daughter of the late Herbert E. McLaughlin and the late Julia M. Donnon. She was the widow of Larry J. Gordon.
Julia was an active member of the Birdsboro Senior Center. In her younger years she loved to play softball, bowling, roller skating, and gardening. She had a special place in her heart for her cat, Kiki.
Surviving Julia are 2 sons: Alfred J. King, Jr., husband of Lilli of Willmar, MN and Alex L. King of Minersville, PA; 1 daughter: Julia A. “Judy” Riccardo, wife of Joseph “Rick” of Exton, PA; and 1 daughter-in-law: Peggy, widow of Alan King. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren: AJ, Julie, Joe, Phillip, and Joshua; and 1 great grandson: Gavin.
She was predeceased by 1 son: Alan King and 1 sister: Shirley Williams.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11:30AM, at the Birdsboro Senior Center, 201 E. Main St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. The family will receive relatives and friends that morning at the senior center from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Memory of Julia, to the Birdsboro Senior Center, at the above address.
