John A. O’Brien III, 55 of Union Twp., Berks Co., PA died on Friday, May 20, 2017, in Union Twp., PA. 
Born May 19, 1962 in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late John A. O’Brien, Jr. and K. Virginia (Tarves) O’Brien of Exeter Twp.
John was self-employed as a General Contractor for O’Brien’s Home Improvements. He was an active member in Pagoda Motorcycle Club, along with Reading Off Road Riders. John was immensely appreciated by all who encountered him, from being an incredible father, to stealing a laugh out of anyone that crossed his path. Honest John was a man of integrity, a man with a plan, and a man that always took the positive out of any situation.
Surviving are son; John A. O’Brien IV of Bonita, CA; brother: Raphael B. O’Brien of Reading, PA, 3 sisters; Colleen K. Porcaro of Reading, PA Veronica M. Giles of Birdsboro, PA, and Mary F. Grachus of Sun City, Az.
