John Herman Janssen, IV, 52 of Union Twp., Berks co., PA died on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Season’s Hospice – Phoenixville Hospital after a nine month battle with cancer.
Born January 14, 1965 in Darby, Delaware County, PA, he was the son of the late John Herman Janssen, III and Kathleen Louise (Murtha) Janssen of Magnolia, DE
John was the husband of Ann Marie (Quintangeli) Janssen.
He was a Quality Control Supervisor for Haines & Kibblehouse.
John was an Asst. Boy Scout Leader, Troop 595; he loved taking his ’67 Chevelle to car shows and restoring his ’71 Chevelle; he enjoyed attending and watching NASCAR races and going to Maple Grove for the races and Super Chevy; he liked being outdoors and sharing photos of the deer and turkeys in the backyard.
Surviving along with his wife and mother are 1 son: John H. Janssen, V at home, 1 daughter: Emily K. Janssen of Royersford, PA, 1 brother: Joseph Janssen of Cape May, NJ.
A viewing will be held at Dengler Funeral Home, Inc., 144 North Spruce Street, Birdsboro, PA on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, with the funeral service at 11:00AM.
