Joan Dorothy (Ziemba) Krawlzik

Joan Dorothy (Ziemba) Krawlzik, 86 of Robeson Twp., Berks Co., PA, died on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at Penn State Health-St. Joseph in Bern Twp., PA.

Born September 22, 1931 in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Ziemba and Katherine (Materniak) Ziemba. She was the wife of Edward C. Krawlzik.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception RC Church.

Surviving along with her husband are sons, Joseph E. husband of Diana Krawlzik of Caernarvon Twp., PA, Ronald J. Krawlzik of Robeson Twp., PA and John D. husband of Lorrie Krawlzik of Wernersville, PA, brother, John Ziemba of Reading, PA, sister, Cecelia Godek of Reading, PA; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by sister, Helen Koprowski.

Joan was devoted to her family and faith, and found strength in dedicating her life to caring for those closest to her. She will be dearly missed, and surely well received by God and the angels in heaven.

A viewing will be held Monday, Feb. 12, 2018 at Immaculate Conception RC Church, 905 Chestnut St., Douglassville, (Union Twp.) PA from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM.

Interment will be in Immaculate Conception R. C. Church Cemetery.

    I was sorry to hear about Aunt Josia’s passing. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
    As a side note, I always enjoyed her potato salad, banana cake, and chocolate cake that she used to make when we had family gatherings at your house. My family also enjoyed her visits to our home here in Florida with my mom and my dad’s sister, Aunt Anna.
