Jeffrey T. Kolb, 55 of Amity Twp., Douglassville, PA passed away in the comfort of his home on Saturday, December 15, 2018 surrounded by those who loved him and his buddy Max the cat.
Born in West Reading, PA, he was the son of Steven C. and Marcia C. (Moyer) Kolb of Douglassville, PA. He was the loving husband of Sharon Ann (Rein) Kolb.
Jeff worked as an electrician for IBEW Local Union 98. He was a graduate of Daniel Boone High School, Class of 1981. He played in the Schuylkill Valley Pool League, where he was a team captain and League President. Also he was a member of Pottstown Clubmen’s League and the Daniel Boone Pool League. He played many instruments including: guitar, drums, and keyboard; and sang in the band “Drama” for many years. Jeff enjoyed auto racing his whole life and on Saturday night could be found at Grandview Speedway. He especially enjoyed the 76’r and putting up the big movie screen in turn four for everyone to enjoy. Jeff mastered the art of brewing craft beer and sharing it with his friends.
Surviving Jeff, along with his wife and parents, is his sister: Kimberly D. Rost of Pottstown, PA and he was the Godfather and uncle to Christopher J. Kolb and Tyler Kolb Rost.
He was predeceased by his sister: Tracy Lee Kolb.
A viewing will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00pm on Friday, Dec. 21, 2018 at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA with the funeral services to follow at 1:00 PM
