Jeffery A. Irvine, Sr., 69, of Exeter Twp., Berks Co., PA died on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Born in Phillipsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Albert and Norma (Irwin) Irvine of Irvona, PA.
Jeffery worked as a truck driver for the former BFI in Morgantown, PA. He served in the Vietnam War in the US Army. In the US Army, Jeffery served in the Special Forces and was a Green Beret. Jeffery was a pastor for 10 years of his life, enjoyed Taekwondo, his motorcycle, and loved his dogs.
Jeffery is survived by his fiancé: Kathy L. Boyer at home; 1 son: Jeffery A. Irvine, Jr., husband of Denise of Birdsboro; 2 daughters: Jessica Irvine, wife of Jeremy Szilli of Pottstown, PA, Rebekah L. Anson of Pottstown, PA; 2 brothers: Roger Lynn Irvine of Wrightsville, PA, and Norman Darrell Irvine of Irvona, PA; 1 step-son: Zack T. Boyer of Exeter Twp., PA. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
He is predeceased by a son, a grandchild, and a sister.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
