James Philip Jacobs, 83 of Exeter Twp., Berks Co., PA, died on Sunday, May 24, 2020, at his residence.
Born June 19, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Walter Jacobs and the late Irene (Brevitz) Jacobs. He married his beautiful wife Margaret Virginia (Wahl) Jacobs on May 15, 1956.
He retired from the former Videotek, Pottstown, PA.
James was a member of Neversink Gun Club and has received 7 patents. James received his private pilot’s license in 1971 and commercial pilot’s license in 1972.
Surviving along with his wife are son, John Andrew husband of Nanette Jacobs of Exeter Twp., PA, daughter, Barbara Phyllis Jacobs of Phoenixville, PA, brother, Walter D. Jacobs of Hoffman Estates, IL, half brother, Robert Jacobs of Algonquin, IL; 1 granddaughter, Johannah Elizabeth Jacobs and 2 Grandchildren of the heart, Ronin Engle and John Gregor.
Services will be held at the family’s convenience.
