James A. McNertney, 95, formerly of Elverson, PA passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Southeastern Veterans Center. Born in South Fork, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas and Pearl (Allen) McNertney. He was the widower of Dorothy A. (Miller) McNertney.
James worked as a foreman for GM in Detroit, Michigan, retiring in 1987 and he was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Birdsboro.
James is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A viewing will take place on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 9:00am-10:00am at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc., 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. A funeral service will follow the viewing at 10:00AM at the funeral home.
Interment will be held in Limerick Garden of Memories in Limerick, PA.
