Esther M. (Miller) Gibbons, 92, formerly of Douglassville, PA, passed away June 9, 2018 in Ocala, FL. Born in Orange, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Walter C. and Mary A. (Eschenfelder) Miller. She was the widow of Robert D. Gibbons who she shared 45 years of marriage.
Esther worked in social services at the Reading Hospital for many years.
She is survived by 3 sons: Mark R. Gibbons, husband of Heidi of Schuylkill Haven, PA; Peter F. Gibbons, husband of Cindy of Agoura Hills, CA; David I. Gibbons, husband of Phyllis of Ocala, FL; 1 daughter: Deborah A. Shrout, widow of Jerry L. of Stevens, PA; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by 2 sisters: Beatrice Johnson, Mildred Taetsch, and 1 brother: Walter C. “Bud” Miller.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
