Ernest F. Nonnon, 89, formerly of West Lawn, Spring Twp., PA passed away on November 4, 2017 at ManorCare Sinking Spring. He was born in Reading, PA to the late Harold T. and Anna R. (Mayer) Nonnon.
Ernest was an Engineer, retiring at Hershey Foods in Reading, PA. Although he enjoyed his profession in Engineering, Ernest was an avid coin and stamp collector. He also served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving Ernest are 1 brother: Robert W. Nonnon, husband of Miriam of Mohnton, PA; 3 half-brothers: George, Fred, and Jon Reimert; and 1 half-sister: Mary Ann Cunnius of Reading, PA.
He was predeceased by 2 sisters: Patricia Boone and Shirley Meachem and 1 step-brother: Ronald Reimert.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc., 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA at 1:00 PM. A viewing will be held at the funeral home, an hour before the service. Interment will be in Charles Evans Cemetery in Reading, PA.
