David P. Cramp

David Paul Cramp, 101, formerly of Plowville, Berks Co., PA, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at StoneRidge Retirement Living in Myerstown, PA. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Levi B. and Esther R. (Kochel) Cramp. He was the widower of Marcella R. (Kennedy) Cramp who passed on 9/3/2007.

David was employed as a Poultry Inspector for the PA Dept. of Agriculture for 10yrs. in Lewistown, PA and worked as a Chemical Analyst for Bethlehem Steel in Morgantown, PA, known as Grace Mines, where he retired after 23yrs. of service. He also served as an Officer in the Civilian Core of Conversation (C.C.C.). He was a graduate of Birdsboro High School and later graduated from Penn State, Class of 1938. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Birdsboro, PA.

Surviving David are: 2 Daughters: Linda L. Davis of Roswell, GA; and Ann M., wife of Terry A. Fisher of Penn Twp.; 3 grandchildren: Heather, Seth, and Daniel; and 4 great grandchildren: Anthony, Patrick, Baxter, and Samuel.

He was predeceased by 1 sister: Betty Simonsen.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
