Charles E. Oxenford, Jr., 62, of Birdsboro, Robeson Twp., PA, passed away June 19, 2018 at his home. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Charles E., Sr. and Lillian I. (Stanton) Oxenford. He was the widower of Marjorie A. (Geyer) Oxenford who passed in 2013.
Charles worked as a Lab Tech. for Timet in Morgantown, PA. Charles was a member of the Alburtis Rod & Gun Club; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, and the outdoors, raising chickens, gardening, pottery, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Charles was a long time member of Friedens Bible Chapel and a member of Morgantown Community Church.
He is survived by 1 son: Charles E. Oxenford, III, husband of Christy of Robeson Twp., PA; 1 daughter: April L. Mieczkowski of Birdsboro, PA; and 3 sisters: Kimberly Hontz of Robeson Twp., PA, Beverly Henry of Robeson Twp., PA, and Amy Orrs of Exeter Twp., PA and companion: Becky Ladner. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Justin Jr., Elizabeth, Annie, and Lilah.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Morgantown Community Church, 4221 Main St. Elverson, PA 19520. A viewing will be held an hour before the service at the church Saturday morning from 10:00AM-11:00AM.
