Carl Daniel Hontz, 45 of Exeter Twp. Berks Co., PA passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 in Phila., PA. Born on April 16, 1972, he was the son of Carolyn Arlene (Hartz) Krick, wife of Ronald Krick – both residents of Exeter Twp., and Carl Frederick Hontz, husband of Doris Hontz, formerly of Birdsboro, PA, now living in Waxhaw, NC.
Carl was a member of the Birdsboro-Union Fire Co., where he enjoyed shooting pool. He enjoyed to fly-fish, and was devoted to the Lord, and reading His Bible daily.
Surviving along with his mother and father are two sons: Carl James Christner of Douglassville, PA; Nicholas Jacob Hontz of Douglassville, PA; three daughters: Angela Marie Hontz of State College, PA; Rita Lyn Sobel & Hope Arlene Sobel-Hontz, both from Mount Penn, PA. He is also survived by a sister, Lindsey Ekta Krick of Bear, DE, and by two grandchildren: Arianna S. and Elianna M. Christner, of Birdsboro, PA.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
