C. Scott Ludwig, Jr., 71 of Birdsboro, PA passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018, at his Residence in Amity Twp, Berks Co., PA after a year-long battle with lung cancer.
Born August 30, 1946 in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Calvin Scott Ludwig, Sr. and the late Virginia (Kline) Ludwig. He was the husband of Roseann S. (Wheeler) Ludwig.
Scott retired in 2008 from Jacob Pattern Works, Stowe, PA.
He was a member of St. Paul’s UCC, Douglassville, PA and the Lil Brothers Car Club in Pottstown, PA.
Surviving along with his wife of 49 years, are son; Peter M. husband of Sarah Ludwig of Robeson Twp., Berks Co., PA, daughter; Karin L. wife of Gregory F. Dushaw of Alexandria, VA, brother; Stewart A. Ludwig of Amity Twp., PA; 3 grandchildren; Brett Ludwig, Collin Ludwig, and Ava Dushaw.
He was predeceased by daughter, Robyn Ann Ludwig.
Scott was known for his love of refurbishing classic cars. He also loved to work in his yard and tinker on projects in his garage and around the house. In more recent years, his grandchildren gave him great joy.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
