Betty A. (Lash) Moyer, of Birdsboro, Exeter Twp., PA entered into glory on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at the Reading Hospital & Med. Center.
Born on June 17, 1939 in Fritztown, PA she was the daughter of the late James F. and Edna E. (Bachman) Lash. She was the widow of Charles E. Moyer.
Betty was a seamstress for the former Hay Creek Apparels for 25 years, then worked for J&L Manufacturing, and Kiwi in Douglassville, PA, retiring in 1999. She had attended Owen J Roberts high School. Betty enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.
Surviving Betty are: 2 sons: Dean A. Thomas of Boyertown, PA and Edwin A. Moyer, husband of Connie of Douglassville, PA; 5 daughters: Cynthia M. wife of Michael A. Yanos of Douglassville, PA, Charlene L. wife of Randy D. Dawson of Birdsboro, PA, Melanie J. wife of Harry Zearfoss of Bloomsburg, PA, Holly L. Rippel of Crumpton, MD, and Tammy A. Sheerin of Birdsboro, PA; and 1 brother: Donald J. Lash of Pottstown, PA. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by 5 brothers: Leroy J., Harold S., Paul A., Leon W., and Raymond W. Lash and 1 sister: Mildred M. Glase.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508 on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 10:30 Am. There will be a viewing for an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in St. Paul’s UM Church Cemetery in Geigertown, PA.
