Arlene Marie (Loy) Kramer, 85, of Douglassville, Pa., died on May 5, 2017, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 23, 1931, in Schuylkill Haven, Pa. She was the daughter of the late Carl F. and Irene E. (Swoyer) Loy. She was the wife of Richard H. Kramer Sr.
Arlene worked for the Daniel Boone School District as an instructional aide for many years. She was a member of St. Paul’s U.C.C. in Amityville, Pa. Arlene loved spending time at their cabin at Landingville Dam in Schuylkill Co. She also enjoyed playing Bingo at Shelbourne and at The Clubhouse.
Arlene is survived by 2 sons, Richard H. Kramer Jr., husband of Stephanie, of Wrightstown, Pa., and Brooke C. Kramer, husband of Sandra, of Douglassville, Pa.; 1 daughter, Deborah L. Kramer of Douglassville, Pa.; and 1 sister, Ruth M. Gaston, wife of Raymond, of Orwigsburg, Pa. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Thane, Garrett, Patrick and Sara.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
